Let us know what you think

Next month we will be conducting our All-Thumb meeting and voting on the boys and girls basketball teams, Players of the Year, Teams of the Year and Coaches of the Year.
SO give us your feedback. We have some nice suprises planned for this awards season, which should we think you'll like, but you tell us...
What do you like about what we've done? What things don't you like? What if anything would change or tweak? What types of things would you, the fans like to see added.
Because aside from doing this to bring recogntion to our local players, we also do this for the enjoyment of you local readers. We value your input as to how we can make this process work better for all involved.

Well I believe, which prolly will not happen but AJ Burton of Brown City should be the player of the year. Yes he does score at times and at time he does not, but he has gone against gimmick defenses all year long. He does everything a coach can ask for. I saw him one game where he was being double teamed all over the court but had to of had like 10 assist or more. What really I love about him is that he sets up people so well. Also, he rebounds and can just flat out defend as well. So I hope you people can take this into consideration and vote for AJ Burton as the Thumb Player of the Year. Also, this it will prove that scoring is not the only thing you need for being a player of the year.

If Alcia Leipprandt is not the Thumb Sportswriters Association Player of the year and they don't push their co workers at the rest of the State's papers to vote for her for Class C Player of the Year is will be a shame. This player is the most complete player in the Class C division in the State. She is not shelfsih, is a team leader and cheerleader, works harder than any other player the has ever played at perfecting the game and still wants to learn or improve more. She has carried the Lady bearcts to a shot at the league title District title and if they go no further the rest of the state should know about her. Let's not forget she only had 7 other players on her team and she helped every one of them improve their game also. My vote is for Alicia Leipprandt Class C State Player of the Year I hope you sports writers make it you personal campaign to get her the honor. I also think AJ Burton should be thumb player of the year forthe boys.

For the record, none of the writers involved in the TSA have an all-state vote as far as I know. If we did, I have no doubt we would be voting for Alicia Leipprandt.

My vote would be for Boys Player of the year (Mcphail) saw him score 29 aginst UBLY in a tight game, he showed me he can handle pressure.
Liepprandt for the girls side, she is the real deal.
Coach Boys: Gainsforth, this is by far not his best team but he got the most out of them and won the league and the district.
Coach Girls: Wehner, other than Leipprandt they did not have alot and this team did much better than anyone expected.
Team of the Year Boys: tie N.Huron and the winner of the B.C. USA game tonight.
Girls TOTY: this is tough one and may be shared but I will go with Brown City
